From Port Harcourt to Leeds: How Henry Chinedu Anadi (LEGIT) Combines Healthcare and Innovation

Henry Chinedu Anadi, fondly known as LEGIT, was born on 12 April in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Proudly hailing from Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, he grew up as the third son in a family of seven children. His early life was defined by discipline, determination, and a vision for making a difference.

Anadi’s academic journey began at Ijapo Primary School and continued at Ijapo Secondary School in Akure, Ondo State. Pursuing his passion for healthcare, he enrolled at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Radiography.

His professional career began in Port Harcourt, where he served as Manager at Georgie’s Diagnostics Limited, building both technical and managerial expertise. With a hunger for growth, he relocated to the United Kingdom, where today he serves as a Senior Interventional Radiographer at Leeds Teaching Hospital and Deputy Leeds Radiographer in Milton Keynes. His work is anchored in innovation, compassion, and resilience.

In his words: “My mission has always been to serve with integrity and create pathways for others to thrive whether in healthcare, digital innovation, or community development.”

Expanding beyond healthcare, Anadi founded the Legit Creators Network, an agency that empowers digital creators and promotes sustainable brand partnerships. He also champions social unity as Welfare Director for the Nigerian Community in Leeds, ensuring diaspora Nigerians are supported and connected.

Anadi’s excellence has been celebrated with numerous awards, including the GR8X Award from The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2021, and the Senior Healthcare Leadership Award from the NHS Leadership Academy. These honors highlight his dedication to patient care, leadership, and strategic impact.

LEGIT continues to bridge healthcare and digital entrepreneurship, leading with integrity and purpose. His presence on TikTok, where he is popularly known as Legit of TikTok, demonstrates his ability to inspire both in professional spaces and within digital communities.
