Empowering Nigeria’s Digital Future with Nigerian Software Testing Week 2025

From September 1 to 6, 2025, Lagos will host the Nigerian Software Testing Week (NSTW) 2025, an innovative six‑day hybrid gathering uniting virtual and in‑person participants under the banner “Quality Assurance at the Core of Nigerian Tech.” Organized by Testersquarter in partnership with the Nigeria Software Testing Communities and supported by leading QA networks and technology ecosystem champions, NSTW25 aims to reframe national conversations around software reliability, digital trust, and resilience.

Against the backdrop of a 2020 incident in which a major Nigerian financial platform collapsed under untested demand, costing millions in lost confidence, NSTW25 will shine a spotlight on the critical role of deliberate testing in securing economic opportunity. Over the course of six days, professionals from government, enterprise, startups, academia, and tech communities will explore how AI‑driven QA tools, mobile‑first FinTech testing, shift‑left automation, and adaptive public‑private partnerships can guard against failure and drive sustainable innovation.

Each day is carefully designed to deliver maximum impact. Monday through Thursday, virtual sessions led by Nigeria’s top QA community will dive into AI performance, security, accessibility, and emerging technologies. Day Five shifts to an exclusive policy and training summit for regulators and agency stakeholders, who will co‑create a draft national software standard and earn certified testing accreditation as well as AI driven product demo of tools that can be used to enhance QA services in Nigeria. On Saturday, delegates will converge at The Zone in Gbagada for hands‑on masterclasses, sponsor exhibitions, a top government official keynote, rapid‑fire mentorship, the TestFlight panel, and the crowning of Testathon prize winners, followed by an evening celebration of Nigeria’s QA leaders.

Throughout NSTW25, over 150 real‑world applications will undergo a “Hunt the Bug” bootcamp, producing detailed reports that feed the first‑ever National QA and Software Testing Report, to be submitted to NITDA, NCC, and NDPC. An expected 3,500 + participants, spanning testers, developers, product managers, regulators, investors, and students, will network, learn, and pave the way for Nigeria to claim its place as the quality‑first hub of Africa’s digital economy.

Tickets grant 24/7 access to testing helpdesks, mentorship matching, recordings of sessions, template, frameworks to boost QA in Nigeria. To participate for this event, registration for the online sessions goes for ₦30,000 while full experience of physical and virtual event is ₦50,000. Tech industry leaders ticket fee is N95,000. Sponsorship opportunities and community partnerships are available to organizations eager to shape the future of Nigerian software testing with solutions.
