In what will be described as a gathering of birds of the same feather, ex-Big Brother housemates Prince and Tasha and some other notable celebrities recently gathered at Waterside venue event center lekki to witness the launch of ‘After the Applause’, a book written by Danny Walter.
Speaking at the event, the social media influencer said the book represents his personal life experiences other people would naturally ignore to protect their brand.
Giving his reason for publishing his book, he explained that ‘After The Applause’ is sort of behind the scenes into what happened.
He acknowledged that for once in his life he has to quit everything in order to write the 13 chapter book.
According to him, ‘I used myself sort of a point of contact for most people. One thing I realized is whatever happens in your life, most of the exact same thing is happening to someone else. You could be going through the worst time. You could be going through sicknesses, terminal illness, a breakup, and the other people going through the same.
“But you know, things like this are not so pleasant, especially for people who are public figures, influencers, or popular people in general. Most of these stories are not what you want to share. They are not the kind of stories you want to put out in public because they are not necessarily good for the image of branding. You just keep them to yourself.”
Speaking at the event , Big Brother Naija ex-housemate Nelson Enwerem Prince appreciated the opportunity that comes along with fame, but noted that anyone seeking fame should properly think about it.
