Businessman Michael Omijeh Receives Nelson Mandela Leadership Award
In a significant recognition of visionary leadership and entrepreneurial excellence, Michael Oseghale Omijeh, a renowned Nigerian businessman and CEO, has been honoured with Nelson Mandela Leadership Award by the West African Youth Council The award recognises Omijeh’s outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, societal development and his exemplary leadership as a business figure.
Being named West Africa Youth Model underscoring his role as a prominent personality with sound resolve and a passion for impact driven leadership.
Currently the CEO of multiple thriving enterprises such as Staunch Men Clothing, Rango Rooftop Lounge & Infuse Fashion Store, Omijeh has built a reputation for innovation, resilience and ambition business strategy.Over the years, he has successfully managed and sustained several businesses which have earned him a respected name across Nigeria’s fashion, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.
What makes his story particularly inspiring is his humble beginning, born and raised in Ajegunle in Olodi Apapa, Omijeh’s early life was marked by limited resources but an abundance of vision.
Despite the odds, he pursued education and earned a diploma in Theatre Arts and TV Production from Lagos State University where he was already making waves, winning accolades for his distinct fashion sense and emerging as a campus style icon.
In response to the honour, Omijeh expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to inspiring the next generation ‘This award isn’t just about me alone but every young person in Africa who dares to dream in the midst of obstacles, all dreams are valid and no ambition is too big to see through’.
