Ajadi Rescue Movement Taraba Chapter Celebrates Ajadi’s Birthday with Orphans in Jalingo

Undeterred by heavy downpour, the Taraba State Chapter of the Ajadi Rescue Movement on Sunday, July 20, paid a heartwarming visit to Alheri Orphanage in Jalingo, the state capital, to mark the 45th birthday celebration of their national leader, His Excellency Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo.

The visit, which commenced at approximately 5:00 p.m., was led by the Deputy State Coordinator, Muhammad Sani Babangida, who stood in for the State Coordinator, Comrade D.N. Muhammad. He was joined by key executive members including the Auditor General, Northern Zone Coordinator, Public Relations Officer, Youth Leader, and Woman Leader, reflecting the unity and commitment of the movement across different arms.

Speaking during the visit, Babangida highlighted the essence of the gesture, emphasizing that true leadership is not only about politics or visibility but also about service to humanity.

“Our visit to the Alheri Orphanage today is a reflection of the kind of leader Ambassador Ajadi is—one who remembers the less privileged even on a day many would expect him to focus on himself,” Babangida stated. “This act of charity is part of our broader goal to follow his example in promoting compassion, community service, and inclusive development.”

The delegation was warmly received by the Director of the orphanage, Hajiya Ummu Ismail Gwaru, who expressed deep appreciation for the visit and lauded Ambassador Ajadi’s consistent philanthropic gestures.

“It is not every day we see political figures or their followers come down to our level in such an intimate and thoughtful way,” she said. “Ambassador Ajadi is a man with a heart for the vulnerable, and I pray Almighty Allah continues to elevate him. I also urge others in leadership to learn from him and lead with a human face.”

In what became the emotional highlight of the event, the group led the children in a spirited birthday song before cutting a customized cake spelling out “AJADI.” The children, visibly excited, were treated to meals and refreshments, with some even offering prayers for the celebrant.

“I pray that God blesses Ajadi Baba with long life and that he keeps helping people like us,” said 10-year-old Halima who bravely stood up to give a thank-you speech on behalf of the other children.

The Public Relations Officer of the chapter, Comrade Ibrahim Musa, also noted that the movement’s humanitarian outreach will continue beyond birthdays and symbolic celebrations.

“This is not a one-off effort. As Ajadi Rescue Movement, we are committed to social intervention programs—particularly those that affect children, the elderly, and people living with disabilities,” he said.

The visit to Alheri Orphanage is one of several simultaneous activities being carried out across states in Nigeria by the Ajadi Rescue Movement to honor the humanitarian legacies and birthday of their Grand Commander, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Bullion Go-Neat Global Ltd and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) 2023 gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State.

As the evening drew to a close, there was a palpable sense of joy and renewed hope within the orphanage premises—a testament to what impact can be achieved when empathy meets leadership.
