The Ywom Traditional Council of Garkawa District, Mikang Local Government Area, Plateau State, under the leadership of His Royal Highness AIG Bashir E. Makama Dabup III, the Mwo-Ywom of Garkawa, has commiserated with the Managing Director, CEOAFRICA, Mr. Cletus Ilobanafor, following the passing of his father, Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, who slept in the Lord on June 22, 2025.

In a letter dated July 3, 2025, the Council conveyed their sadness over the family’s loss, stating that the Ywom Traditional Council and the entire Ywom Nation, are touched by the demise of the patriarch.

The group stated that Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor’s legacy was one of immense wisdom, great dignity, and moral strength which has culminated in notable positive achievements for the community.

His position as a father, leader, and elder statesman, they said, will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched both directly and indirectly.

Part of the letter reads: “In this moment of deep grief, we pray that God Almighty consoles you, your immediate and extended family, and indeed the entire community. May you find strength in the values he (late Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor) upheld and the love he so generously gave.”

The group also offered a prayer for the soul of Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, asking that the angels of God lead him into the bosom of Abraham where peace is eternal.

They concluded the letter with a message of solidarity, expressing the Council’s commitment to stand by the family during this trying time in honour of the departed patriarch.
