The Kwara Real Estate Conference 2025 (KWAREC) was held on Saturday, May 24, at the Ilorin Banquet Hall, spotlighting investment opportunities, innovation, and sustainability in the state’s booming property sector.
Powered by Jibzit Properties Limited in partnership with Kabad Nigeria Limited, the conference drew industry leaders, investors, academics, and policymakers from across Nigeria and the diaspora under the theme “Aspiring to Elevate (ATE).”
Dr. Azeez Olayinka Adigun, CEO of Jibzit Properties and conference convener, urged participants to build not just structures but legacies—anchored on innovation, affordability, and ethical development.
Key speakers included Dr. Segun Ogunsola, Kwara’s Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development; Mr. Obinna Onunkwo of Purple Group; Dr. Ibukun Adebayo of Rock Realty; Prince Lukman Fagbemi, SAN; Dr. Fasilat Rafiu of KWASU; and several other experts who covered topics ranging from smart city projects and sustainable building to legal advocacy and diaspora investments.
Panel sessions enabled direct audience engagement, while standout recognitions were awarded to Dr. Kamoru Ibitoye Yusuf (KAMWIRE) and Dr. Akeem Adebayo Salawudeen (Tascon Group) for their contributions to real estate development.
The event was graced by dignitaries including representatives of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Attorney General of the Federation, traditional rulers, and REDAN Kwara leadership.
KWAREC 2025 also served as a platform to showcase Jibzit’s upcoming developments such as K-Square Gardens, Aqua View Residences, and soon-to-launch projects like The Meadows and Funtasy Land, set to redefine housing and leisure in Kwara State.
With strong government backing and industry support, KWAREC 2025 reaffirmed Kwara’s position as a rising hub for real estate innovation and inclusive growth.
