Fertility is Not Just a Women’s Issue, as One Wellness Centre Educates, Treats Couples Together

Infertility affects both men and women, but too often, women bear the emotional burden alone, a Wellness centre has declared.

At One Wellness Centre, based in Lagos, the narrative is changing.
Dr. Joe Khalifa, an obstetrician and gynecologist at the clinic, emphasized the importance of treating infertility as a shared journey, saying: “We always encourage couples to come in together. Whether it’s hormonal imbalance, low sperm count, or age-related fertility decline, we support both partners equally.”

Dr. Jean Nassar, IVF specialist, notes also that male factor infertility accounts for nearly half of the clinic’s cases. One Wellness offers comprehensive diagnostics, sperm analysis, and reproductive planning that empowers men to take charge of their fertility too.

“Our clinic isn’t about blame. It’s about understanding, science, and real results,” says Dr. Chibuki Aigbe.

Their patient-first approach is yielding some of the highest success rates in Lagos, making them a preferred destination for fertility treatment.
