PiplePay CEO Samuel Ntekob Unveils Nigeria’s First Physical Crypto Debit Card
Flurstack Technologies Limited has introduced Nigeria’s first physical debit card enabling direct cryptocurrency-to-Naira transactions through its PiplePay platform.
The innovation addresses a growing need among Nigeria’s crypto users, who have traditionally relied on slower peer-to-peer conversion methods. The card automatically converts digital assets to local currency during transactions at retail outlets, online merchants, and ATM terminals.
“Nigerians increasingly hold digital assets but need practical ways to use them,” said Samuel Ntekob, CEO of PiplePay. “This bridges the gap between crypto holdings and everyday commerce.”
The launch comes as Nigeria maintains its position as one of Africa’s most active cryptocurrency markets, with recent estimates suggesting over 22 million users in the country. The physical card option distinguishes PiplePay from existing virtual crypto card services currently available in the market.
The company has opened pre-orders through its official channels, with initial distribution expected in major Nigerian cities.
