MTI Rewards Surulere Students With Educational Materials
A social-impact initiative led by media personality Oyebanjo Ayomidipupo (BME) has empowered hundreds of students Surulere Girls High School at the just concluded The 8th edition of MOVE TO IMPACT (MTI).
This year’s edition, held on 7th May, 2025, with the theme ‘BE THE CHANGE’, saw several students walking away inspired, empowered, and equipped.
The event featured notable dignitaries and thought leaders who shared knowledge, motivation, and real-life strategies with the students in attendance. One of the high points of the programme was an engaging panel session where professionals across sectors shared their journeys and encouraged the students to pursue excellence despite the odds.
In addition to the powerful conversations, MTI didn’t leave the students empty-handed. Awards were presented to stand out participants, and several students received substantial cash prizes and educational gift items aimed at supporting their academic and personal development.
BME, alongside his dedicated team of volunteers, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to making the day a success. “It’s more than an event—it’s a movement. These young people deserve opportunities, and MTI is our way of planting hope,” he shared.
With eyes already set on the 9th edition, BME and the MTI team are motivated more than ever to expand the initiative’s reach and deepen its impact in underserved communities across Lagos and beyond.
