Umar Abdulrasheed honoured as Educational Ambassador at Inclusive Educational Summit

The Founder of the Umar Abdulrasheed Foundation (UAF), Umar Abdulrasheed, has been honoured with the prestigious title of Educational Ambassador at the Inclusive Educational Summit organised by the Faculty of Arts Students’ Association (FASA), University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
The summit with the theme: “Equity and Inclusion in Education: Addressing Disparities in Access, Resources & Opportunities,” took place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
The event played host to key stakeholders in the education sector, including university lecturers and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, Salami Wasiu Onidugbe, who represented Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
It also served as a vital platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities in building a more equitable and inclusive educational system.

Umar Abdulrasheed, through the Umar Abdulrasheed Foundation (UAF), has been at the forefront of promoting accessible and inclusive education. His dedication to bridging disparities in access, resources, and opportunities for learners has been widely recognised, making him a deserving recipient of the Educational Ambassador title.
In his acceptance speech, Umar Abdulrasheed reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that every learner, regardless of background, has access to quality education. He emphasised the need for collaborative efforts among policymakers, educators, and private organisations to eliminate educational barriers.
The recognition underscores UAF’s unwavering efforts in investing in humanity through education, further solidifying its impact in transforming lives through learning opportunities.
