Awele Culture Speaks On Betrayal, Forgiveness In New Single ‘All Love’

Fast-rising Nigerian rapper, Kingsley Chukwuma Nwankwo, better known on the music scene as Awele Culture, has continued to make waves since his debut single in early 2024.

Following his breakout track, Gbemidebe, he has now released another sensational song titled All Love.

In an interview, Awele revealed that ‘All Love’ stems from a deeply personal experience of betrayal and forgiveness.

“The inspiration for All Love originated from a real-life situation where I was struggling to forgive a loved one for their betrayal,” he shared.

Awele first gained recognition with Gbemidebe, a song that projected him into the limelight.

Reflecting on his journey, he said, “I have many songs that I have had for many years. I did a lot of covers and kept pushing until Gbemidebe. My songs are real-life stories turned into music. So most times, they actually need to be given time.”

While Gbemidebe carried a melancholic energy, All Love takes on a different tone, bringing vibrancy and posing free-spirited questions about love, betrayal, and the struggle with forgiveness.

“It was not in the plan to put out All Love when I did, but it felt like we had to—like I had to get it off my chest,” the AC Entertainment signee explained.

Addressing the streaming rumors that followed the release, Awele emphasized the true essence of music. “Like I said earlier, music takes time. Yes, I know part of the yardstick to measure an artist’s success right now is by the number of streams they have online, but that’s not what music is about.

“Music is about love, passion, and the freedom to express yourself in any manner of your choosing. Streams don’t define good music, but also, their importance cannot be overlooked.”

With ‘All Love’, Awele Culture continues to solidify his place as an artist with depth, using his music to navigate real-life experiences and connect with his audience.
