Arthurite Integrated Partners AWS on Cloud Innovation, Business Transformation Conference

The Chief Executive Officer/Chairman of Arthurite Group, Somto Ezepue, has emphasised the importance of cloud adoption to enhance business efficiency.
Ezepue also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to equipping businesses with the right cloud strategies to scale effectively.


He said this at a tech conference with discussions centred around cloud adoption, moving award from physical servers and onsite storage systems in business especially with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Supercomputers.
The event was organised by Arthurite Integrated in collaboration with its partner, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solution. It also saw the official launch of Arthurite Integrated’s training arm.


Speaking in an interview, Ezepue said: “Moving to the cloud is basically seamless because it helps you reduce cost; improve security and you can do more. Then, you are not just thinking about it as a storage device, you are thinking about how you can build any other existing thing on the cloud.


“From things as easy as website and because of the various use-cases that transverse between various industries and sectors, you can  customise what you want to do with cloud computing.”
He stressed that the event was to empower existing and also attract potential clients and also to encourage tech enthusiasts.


Commenting on Arthurite Integrated’s training arm, he said: “Our focus is on empowering businesses with the right cloud strategies to drive efficiency and sustainable growth.”
In her contribution, the Manager, AWS Nigeria, Omohefe Justina, highlighted the benefits of the partnership, detailing how Arthurite Integrated had been positioned to help businesses ranging from SMEs, startups, individuals and bigger organisations implement AWS solutions effectively.


She also elaborated how AWS services could help clients manage costs, improve operational efficiency, and leverage advanced cloud technologies to scale their businesses seamlessly.
A customer success story was presented to highlight Arthurite Integrated’s impact on  businesses. Customers such as DDBuilding Tech & Titan Physiothraphy shared their  experience working with the company and how Arthurite Integrated helped streamline their solutions, improve efficiency, and enhance overall business operations.

A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Arthurite Green Eats App, a restaurant management application built entirely with AWS serverless services, designed to demonstrate the power of serverless technology in creating efficient and scalable business solutions.

The app is said to have been developed by Mrs. Nene Ezepue, Chief Technical Officer and Executive Director at Arthurite Integrated, in close collaboration with the company’s technical team, including Engr. Joyce, Dr. Paul Aderoju, a cloud engineer at Arthurite Integrated, showcases the company’s commitment to leveraging cloud technology for business optimisation and transformation.

The event which brought together professionals from various industries, marking a pivotal moment in Arthurite Integrated’s journey as an AWS partner, provided attendees with insights into practical cloud adoption strategies, as well as opportunities to explore the latest trends in cloud technology and its role in business transformation.

The first panel session, “From Vision to Execution, Strategies for Cloud Adoption and ROI Optimisation,” moderated by Engr. Abolaji Abdulrahman, delved into practical approaches to cloud adoption and the optimisation of return on investment (ROI), featuring a series of thought-provoking discussions on the challenges and solutions businesses face when migrating to the cloud.

Also, a seasoned software engineer, Mr. Sherifudeen Awofiranye, addressed the common challenges in cloud migration, emphasising, “A structured approach to cloud adoption ensures seamless integration and minimizes risks.”

Another, a cloud engineer and educator, Mr. Larry Adah, highlighted the critical role of training in cloud adoption, stating, “Without adequate training, businesses struggle to leverage the full potential of the cloud,” reinforcing the significance of building a skilled workforce that can maximise the benefits of cloud technology.”
