2024 International literacy day: StakeholdersPartner to Promote Multilingual Education

In commemoration of International Literacy Day 2024, The Great Johnson Foundation and Policy House have pledged to collaborate in promoting multilingual education as a cornerstone for mutual understanding and peace in Nigeria.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Abuja, Akhere, the Founder of The Great Johnson Foundation, lauded Policy House’s longstanding advocacy for out-of-school children in Nigeria. He emphasized the critical need to address the challenges faced by Nigerian children, including their education, the safety of their learning environment, and knowledge acquisition.

“There’s much work to be done to ensure that every Nigerian child has access to quality education,” Akhere stated. “By partnering with Policy House Tifa-Cdi, we aim to promote multilingual education as a powerful tool for fostering unity and understanding among diverse communities.”

Policy House Tifa-Cdi, Country Director, Taiwo Akerele expressed gratitude for The Great Johnson Foundation’s commitment to the partnership.

He highlighted the organization’s impactful projects in education and expressed confidence that the collaboration would be a game-changer.

The Great Johnson Foundation and Policy House Tifa-Cdi will be working together to develop a comprehensive action plan to promote multilingual education in Nigeria.
