NDDC Boss Commends President on Abuja Light Rail Project

Managing Director/ Chief Executive, Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku, has commended the vision behind the Abuja Light Rail Project by the federal government.
Speaking to THISDAY shortly after the inauguration of the Abuja Metro Station by President Bola Tinubu, Ogbuku described tbe project as a thing of joy to Nigerians.
He said the flag-off of commercial operations of the light rail service was a testament to the President’s commitment to ensuring that the county remained on the track of steady progress towards economic recovery and prosperity.
The NDDC chief executive further congratulated Tinubu, and Minister Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for achieving such a quality milestone, stressing that the project would further enhance socio-economic growth in the metropolitan region.
The NDDC Boss said the Renewed Hope mantra of the current administration was on course and emphasised the need for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government to key into the agenda and promote its ideals.
Ogbuku further emphasised the commitment of Tinubu to ensuring good governance in Nigeria and delivering on the dividends of democracy to the people.
He therefore called for the support of every stakeholder in the Nigeria Project.
Ogbuku also felicitated with the President and Vice President, on their anniversary of one year in office and prayed to God to grant them peace and enablement to progress the country in line with their electioneering promises and vision for Nigeria.
