The wife of Bauchi Governor, Aisha Bala-Muhammad voluntarily joined a small group of passersby trekking through a challenging stretch of bad road.

Contrary to previous reports suggesting she was forced into this situation due to bad roads trapping her motorcade, the Bauchi Integrity and Credible Information Monitors (BICIM) clarified the situation.

BICIM’s Chairman, Lawal Sani Ningi, addressed the controversy sparked by sensationalized reports from online portals such as Sahara Reporters, stating that these negative reports were politically motivated and orchestrated by self-appointed enemies of the Governor and his family members.

Ningi emphasized that Aisha’s decision to trek through the mud water was a testament to her humility and commitment to serving the people.

He stated, “Humility is an essential characteristic for leaders. In a society where power is often abused, Aisha Bala-Muhammad’s trek through mud water portrays a refreshing sense of selflessness and service. It is a reminder that leaders are not immune to the harsh realities that common folk face.”

Furthermore, he commended Mrs. Bala-Muhammad for not seeking publicity or fanfare for her act of humility. In a world dominated by social media metrics and self-promotion, her genuine actions serve as an inspiring example of doing good without expecting praise or rewards.
