Unified Payments Appoints Vivian Okolo as Director
Unified Payment Services Limited has announced the appointment of Vivian Okolo as Director Corporate Services.
In a statement by the organisation, it was noted that
Okolo joined Universal Payments in 1999 working in the Information Technology Group.
The statement also noted that She was subsequently appointed the Head of Acquiring Department and had direct responsibility for growing merchant acceptance.
The statement averred that Under Okolo, Unified Payment Services Limited merchant network grew significantly while income targets were surpassed, adding that she also had direct responsibility for Unified Payment Services Limited successful application for Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP) License from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2011.
According to the statement, “As Group Head, IT Vivian led the infrastructure, software, and the bespoke processing services operations of the company.
She graduated from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology with a B.Eng. in Computer Science and Engineering. She also holds an MBA in Marketing from ESUT Business School. She also attended the Senior Management Programme and Advanced Management Programme in Lagos Business School, AMP-CEP Global programme in IESE Business school, Barcelona, Spain, and Cornell University, USA. Okolo, now the Director, Corporate Services, brings to this her role experience in marketing, stakeholder management, customer experience and IT user services.”
