Honoring Humanitarian Excellence: Dr. Arinze Madueke Receives Distinguished Awards for Community Service

Dr. Arinze Madueke, a prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, has just received an award for his exceptional contribution to community development and humanitarian services. From a humble beginning Dr. Madueke rose to become a successful entrepreneur technocrat and renowned philanthropist .

Chief Dr. Madueke’s life in his younger years was shaped by the experience of adapting to school in the rural areas. Having relocated to Ukpor with his family from Lagos, he attended school in nearby Ihiala at Abot Boys Secondary School, walking long distances to school sometimes. Through this manner, his strict work ethic and deep knowledge of the value of schooling were instilled. After pursuing a medical career, Dr. Madueke entered business with the drive to address broader social issues in education, healthcare access, and economic empowerment.

Dr. Arinze Madueke’s Zidora Group is a conglomerate of diverse subsidiaries which includes Aviation ,travels,Media ,IT,renewable energy,agriculture,pharmaceuticals; real estate,sports ,oil and gas.

He founded Zidora Aid Foundation (ZAF) a non governmental organization that has lifed hundreds of Africans out of poverty by providing support to the needy ,good health care, educational scholarships,interest free loans to smes,free housing ,portable water ,installation of electricity and transformers in rural areas.

Dr Arinze Madueke is a Paul Harris Fellow awarded by the Rotary Organization for his humanitarian activities and service to humanity. He has also been conferred with the title of Ezeana Okaka na Ukpor by the Ukpor people for appreciating his noble philanthropic works that has improved the lives of hundreds.

He has been awarded the Distinguished Customer Award of Excellence by Fidelity Bank as a testament to his commitment to economic development within the region. In 2019, he received the Ambassador of Peace and Security Award from The Lagos Watch, yet another testament to his commitment to community security and stability.

Education is one of the cornerstones of his philanthropic activities. Dr. Madueke’s partnership with various educational institutions has led to the setting up of scholarship programs to assist underprivileged students. His efforts were appreciated by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, which conferred on him the title of “Driver of Commerce and Industry” in 2020. This is not only for his commercial acumen but also for his efforts in fostering educational opportunities among the young.

Dr. Madueke’s philanthropic activities have also drawn acclaim from other organizations that promote social issues. He received the Award of Excellence as an Icon of Humanitarian Service from the Nigeria Youth Advocacy for Good Governance Initiative. Through partnerships with organizations such as the Mercy & Charity Orphanage in Port Harcourt and the Open Arms of Mercy Orphanage Home in Lagos, Dr. Madueke has provided crucial resources and support to those in need.
