In a move aimed at strengthening governance and capacity within Osun’s civil service, Governor Ademola Adeleke has appointed seasoned public relations professional Bukola Oloba as the lead facilitator for the upcoming State Civil Service Development Training.

Oloba, who currently serves as Senior Public Relations Officer at the Centre for Management Development (CMD) under the Office of the Presidency, brings over 15 years of experience training federal ministries, departments, and agencies in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.

Governor Adeleke emphasized the importance of robust internal communication within government structures. Senior Government officials have stated that effective engagement with the State civil servants is essential for delivering better services to our people and sustaining state development.

As lead trainer, Oloba will oversee comprehensive modules covering internal communications strategy, public sector reputation management, and employee engagement—key areas identified as critical to boosting civil service efficiency and public trust.

Oloba lauded Governor Adeleke’s decision, stating:

“This training reflects a forward-thinking approach to governance. When civil servants are connected, well-informed, and aligned with governmental goals, they become actively engaged contributors to institutional success.”

The training—which kicks off next month in Osogbo—will be hosted in collaboration with key senior stakeholders in the State. More than 200 senior and mid-level civil servants from key ministries such as Health, Education, Finance, and Agriculture are expected to participate.

This initiative is part of Governor Adeleke’s broader reform agenda, aimed at rejuvenating performance, accountability, and public sector innovation within Osun State’s administration.
