Uba Michael congratulates new APC national chairman Abdullahi Adamu

Delta State gubernatorial hopeful, Chief (Amb) Uba A. Michael has congratulated Abdullahi Adamu over his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress at the national convention held on Saturday.

Adamu emerged as a consensus candidate after other contestants stepped down for him. Adamu who is a former governor of Nasarawa State and was a serving senator before his victory at the convention was reportedly the candidate of choice of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Congratulating Adamu. Uba called on him to continue from where Mala Mai Buni stopped by unifying the party by creating room for aggrieved members to have an audience, make their grievances known, and reach a settlement in order to avoid divisions in the party heading into next year’s election.

He further urged other members of the newly elected national working committee to work together to ensure that the party retains the number one seat in the country after the general elections.

Uba was among top dignitaries who graced the occasion that held at the Eagle Square.
