Yuletide: Adhere to Covid-19 safety guidelines – Uba Michael

Delta state gubernatorial aspirant, Uba A. Michael has called for continued adherence to Covid-19 safety guidelines to help contain the spread of the virus.

Uba said this in his new year message to Deltans and Nigerians in generally where he also wished them all the blessings that comes with this period of celebration and a prosperous 2022.

The UBACLE Group Chairman said that the increased number of travelers this period, especially those coming from outside the country, although poses a threat, can be well managed if everyone observes the safety guidelines.

He called for the use of prescribed nose masks, hand sanitizers and then strict obedience and compliance as new variants continue to emerge.

He said: “There would definitely be a lot of movement this period. While some are visiting friends and relatives, others would be welcoming friends and relatives. What we can do for ourselves at this time is to obey set down safety guidelines as new variants continue to emerge.

“I pray that this Covid-19 will soon be a thing of the past so that we can go back to living our normal lives.

“Stay safe and have a blessed new year.” He concluded
