Collapsed High-rise Building: NEMA Optimistic About Rescuing More Victims

After a-two hour rest, emergency responders, Tuesday, continued with the rescue operations to save other victims trapped beneath the rubble of the 21-storey building in Ikoyi.

According to the Southwest Zonal Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, heavy equipment have started serious work at the site.

“We are very hopeful of rescuing more people today,” he said.
