Jandor Decries Neglect of Badagry

Lagos4Lagos movement convener, Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has decried the poor state of Badagry.

In a recent visit to the town where he received support from notable politicians, traditional and religious rulers, the Lagos State governorship hopeful said that the state of the Badagry-Ojo road was deplorable.

Adediran noted that Badagry deserves better because of its place in the historical development of Lagos and the abundance of human and natural resources, adding that the ancient town should not be neglected.

Many of the residents, who came out en masse to show their support for Adediran, praised his decision to join the political race in Lagos, noting that the Badagry Division has always played second fiddle in the scheme of things in the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

At a meeting, the traditional rulers (Baales) made their position known to Adediran. While lending their support to him, they noted that the APC stalwart has touched many lives of their subjects through the Jandor Foundation.

They expressed confidence in Adediran’s ability to bring the needed development to their domain when voted into power in 2023.

Earlier, Adediran joined Muslim faithfuls at Ibereko Central mosque for Juma’at prayers. Thereafter, the Muslim leaders endorsed the aspiration of Jandor and prayed for the success of his project 2023.

In a similar vein, traditional religion practitioners in Badagry also expressed their support for the aspiration of Jandor.

Speaking during a meeting with Adediran, the traditional religion practitioners expressed their gratitude for his recognition of traditional religion, as they noted that governments from the past to present have never deemed it necessary to recognize them.

The visit to Badagry came on the heels of the wide support Adediran received from interactive meetings held in Alimosho, Ikorodu, Agege, and Ibeju-Lekki.
