House Proceeds on 2-Month Vacation, Resumes Plenary Sept 14

The House of Representatives, Friday adjourned plenary and proceeded on a two- month annual vacation shortly after considering and passing the Electoral Act Amendment Bill and Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB).

The adjournment was sequel to a motion for the lawmakers to proceed on annual vacation till Tuesday, September 14, moved by the House Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Peter Akpatason, and seconded by minority lawmakers, Hon. Wole Oke (PDP) and Umar Saraki (PRP).
