Ehite ‘Bella’ Asfaw popularly know as BELLA was born on February 28th 1986 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was raised in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a Singer, Poet, Spoken word artist, motivational speaker & Philanthropist.

She recently launched an empowerment project aimed at granting small business loans to African and black owned businesses. In a statement she said “My mission is to eradicate poverty on a global scale by providing tools and funding for black owned businesses to help them set up and run profitable businesses”

She says she intends to bring solutions with this project to the world problem of poverty. This project will help establish entrepreneurial programs to will make a difference in struggling families. It will assist more people of black origin set up successful business, by offering business mentorship and also making available financial resources for entrepreneurial ventures,

Bella said the project will work with key key people in host communities, states, and countries, with the goal of building a network of decision-makers. “Our goal is to foster profitable relationships between entrepreneurs by connecting businesses to businesses” She stated.

Bella is also the founder and creative director of skin care brand ClassyByBella, an online based skin care company originated in Dallas, Texas. She lives in Dallas and is currently working on releasing her debut spoken word album later this year.
