The Founder of Yeve Logistics & Procurement Ltd, Omonbhen Iyere-Isibor, has been recognised in the Logistics Thought Leadership & Education category at the Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Awards.
The award celebrates young African leaders whose work is shaping industries through innovation, knowledge, and long-term impact.
In an industry often defined by technical complexity and steep learning curves, Iyere-Isibor has distinguished herself by making logistics knowledge accessible. The award was presented to her in recognition of her contribution to logistics thought-leadership and education, spotlighting a career built not only on operational experience but on the deliberate sharing of that experience with others.
With over six years of professional experience spanning procurement, air freight, and sea cargo management, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by emerging logistics professionals and small business operators.
Rather than keeping this expertise confined to practice, she has focused on translating it into structured learning that simplifies complex logistics operations and equips learners with practical, results-driven knowledge.
“Logistics is often treated as something people only understand after years of mistakes,” Iyere-Isibor said. “I wanted to create learning that removes fear and confusion, and gives people clarity before they step into real operations.”
Through Yeve Logistics & Procurement Limited, she has developed digital courses and published industry-focused articles that address core areas such as freight coordination, international trade documentation, and supply chain efficiency.
Her educational approach is rooted in real-world application, enabling students, entrepreneurs, and cargo operators to understand not just how logistics works, but how to execute it effectively within global trade environments.
Her initiatives have empowered individuals across borders, many of whom have gone on to establish and manage their own logistics enterprises. By combining mentorship, storytelling, and structured content, Iyere-Isibor has helped build a growing network of better-informed logistics practitioners operating within and beyond Africa.
“For me, thought leadership is not about visibility alone,” she said. “It is about responsibility. When knowledge is shared clearly, it reduces costly errors and helps businesses grow sustainably.”
The Logistics Thought Leadership & Education recognition reflects a broader shift within the industry toward knowledge-driven growth and professional development. As logistics continue to evolve alongside global trade demands, the need for accessible education and skilled coordination has become increasingly critical.
Reflecting on her work, Iyere-Isibor emphasised the importance of preparing the next generation of professionals. “The industry will keep changing,” she noted. “My focus has always been to ensure that emerging professionals are equipped to adapt, compete, and lead responsibly, no matter where they are operating from.”
Through her continued commitment to education and mentorship, she Iyere-Isibor remains a key voice in shaping the future of logistics and procurement, with knowledge positioned as the foundation for sustainable industry growth.
