Making Jest of Buhari's Ill-Health is Satanic, Says Varsity Don‎

Critics of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ill-health came under attack over the weekend in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, as a Professor of Islamic Studies, Badmas ‘Lanre Yusuf, described them as satanic.

Yusuf, who is the Dean, Postgraduate School, University of Ilorin, disclosed this while delivering Juma’at sermon at Hilal Crescent Central Mosque, Offa GRA, Ilorin.

According to him, “Those capitalising on Buhari’s sickness to make jest of him are inviting the wrath of God.”

He explained that those behind the caricature should remember that Buhari, like every mortal, is susceptible to sickness and therefore should not be castigated on account of his current health challenges.
