Ogwashi-Ukwu: Stand Up to be Counted

All Sons and Daughters of Ogwashi-Ukwu in Aniocha South Local Govt Area of Delta State must rise up and speak truth to power to all our traditional, political and community leaders concerning the state of underdevelopment of Ogwashi-Ukwu.

We can’t afford to continue leaving in past glory and reading the books of lamentations. We must move to the book of Revelation. We must rise up and be patriotic concerning the state of Ogwashi-Ukwu.

We can’t continue to point accusing fingers because we are all guilty due to our docility concerning the affairs of our homeland. Ogwashi-Ukwu has a brighter and greater destiny than this and we all must stand up and be counted. How can the capital of Aniocha South Local Govt Area of Delta State be in utter darkness and we are doing nothing to confront our leaders to see that electricity is restored? How can insecurity be all over the community and we are silent about it? How can youth unemployment be so high in our town and we are doing nothing to confront it? We are a land blessed with potential and lots of prominent sons and daughters making positive impacts all over the country and the world. We must come back home to develop our homeland. As they say, charity begins at home.
