Nigerian Entertainment Industry Honours Tola Onigbanjo

It was a proud moment for one of Nigeria’s prides in the United Kingdom, Tola Onigbanjo, better known as WiseTola, who recently got a heartwarming homecoming party to celebrate her milestone in the nation’s entertainment industry.

For WiseTola, it was a well-deserved honour. Her contributions to the entertainment industry in the last 15 years cannot be overemphasized. It’s no surprise that she’s in the spotlight for being a shining light in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

The well-planned celebratory event, held at the exclusive Silk, Lagos, tucked away in the ultra-rich Ikoyi neighborhood, witnessed the convergence of the industry’s giants and celebrities who trooped out in their numbers to honour WiseTola’s years of excellence in the entertainment industry.

Hailed as one of coolest entertainment events of 2024, the memorable night, organized by industry big names featured one of Nigeria’s female rap talents, Vivian Osagie, fondly called as Vien007. who is widely known for her dynamic energy and delightful rap performances. Vien007 was in her element and spiced up the evening with her infectious energetic performance.

With the enthusiastic guests savoring everyone moment of the memorable night, the woman of the moment, WiseTola took the high-flying guests on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. She narrated the story of her humble beginnings in Lagos – the city that inspired her passion for promoting young talents.

And that’s not all, the highlight of the night includes speeches delivered by eminent personalities, including Bolaji Kareem and Ezegozie Eze Jr of Empire, Bayo Fatoba of The Human Discretion Company and the Oga Boss, renowned rapper, IIIbliss. They all took time to share WiseTola’s impressive track record and influence in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Expectedly, it was a night of unforgettable fun and networking with plenty to eat and drink. On hand to add icing on the cake was artist Tigua, who took the trouble to embark on a special journey to Lagos in honour of WiseTola.

The A-list event witnessed the presence of veterans, including producer ID Cabasa, Bizzle, Ugo Mordi, and a lineup of Nigeria’s next rated artists like Dice Ailes, Kohdee, Ayo Maff, Genie KG, Zamorra, Shinettw and Runda among others.

WiseTola’s over a decade honour wasn’t just a step back in history ; it was a time of giving honour to whom honour is due. It’s also a celebration of hardwork, integrity and excellence. No doubt, WiseTola has carved a powerful niche for herself in the Nigerian entertainment industry. And her influence obviously extends beyond the shores of Nigeria. To say that she has done well for herself is simply stating the obvious.
