Afrobeats star, Wizkid has dropped the official music video for his track, Diamonds’. The music video released recently, was directed by Director K and it marks Wizkid’s second music video of the year following the visuals for ‘IDK,’ his collaboration with rapper Zlatan four days earlier.
‘Diamond’ is one of the songs on his EP ‘S2’ (Soundman 2). The video’s central theme revolves around the unabashed display of opulence and undeniable success, portraying a lifestyle lived to the fullest, amplifying his self-assured presence and charisma throughout the production.
On the single, Wizkid touched on the subject of personal struggles and finding comfort in the hope of a better tomorrow. The captivating three-minute video showcases Wizkid in an intimate setting, passionately performing the song shirtless as he pranced around the set, speaking on his struggles.
Beyond the visual spectacle, the song itself resonates with infectious energy and catchy hooks, effortlessly captivating listeners. The tracks on the recent body of work containing Diamonds include ‘Ololufe’ ft. Wande Coal, ‘Energy’, ‘Diamonds’, and ‘IDK’ ft. Zlatan Ibile.‘Diamonds’ is the second track of ‘Soundman 2’.
