December is generally known in Nigeria, especially in the entertainment industry, to be filled with a flurry of events. Popularly know as ‘Detty December’ event organizers take turns to serenade fun seekers and bring them closer to their favourite celebrities via concerts among other events.
One of the main events that is greatly anticipated is the ‘Checkmate Lagos’ concert holding on the 7th of December and will feature some of the most celebrated entertainers in Nigeria which includes rapper Zlatan, 9ice, Comedian Asiri, DJ Neptune, among others.
A member of organising team said that the event set the tone for others, as they were ticking all boxes to guarantee a thrilling spectacle, “Checkmate Lagos will set the pace for other events to follow. The event will hold at Checkmate Lounge at the Oniru private beach and will feature the best in comedy, music and drama. The event is billed to be hosted by versatile Asiricomedy and renowned Mc AJELE.
