Force PRO Endorses “Leave Comedy for Shortcut”, Show, Praises Entertainment Industry

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigerian Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi has played host to one of the most consistent and multi-talented entertainers in Nigeria Onwunarugwu Ndubuisi Joseph, also known as Shortcut.

This comes ahead of the fifth anniversary of Shortcut’s show tagged “Leave Comedy for Shortcut” (Cruise 5.0) coming up in the city of Abuja on November 25.

He was accompanied to the visit at Force headquarters by his friends and colleagues, some of who will perform at the event.

In his response, Adejobi congratulated Shortcut for his consistency in the industry, leading the the fifth edition of the event.

He also applauded the entertainer for using his platform to engage young people, a move he said has assisted in reducing crime in the country.

According to the police spokesman, through his rap challenge at on stage, Shortcut has provided an opportunity for young talents to develop interest in entertainment,

He also indicated interest to be at the comedy show as a way of showing the support of the Nigerian police towards the development of entertainment industry.

He said Police and the entertainment industry have enjoyed a mutual partnership over the years, saying the leadership of the force under IGP Kayode Egbetokun is committed to building in the existing partnership between them.

The fifth edition of his “Leave Comedy for Shortcut” is expected to record another overwhelming success like the previous editions.

So much preparations have been put on ground to make this edition outstanding, which largely informed the choice and quality of artistes to perform.

Also, the chairman Domak Shelter, Kingsley Azonobi has equally offered to give a plot of land to be won by one of the guests at “Leave Comedy for Shortcut” Show.

Shortcut has equally been involved in honing young talents in the industry as a way of offering mentorship.

Holding at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, those expected to perform include, Duncan Mighty, Sabinus, Edo Pikin, Ogbuefi I go Tuk, Mimiko, Sarkin Dariya, Danny Spry, Aje Baba, MC Bob and Odogwu.
