Henkel Reiterates Committment to Quality Product Delivery, Manufacturing Standards

Henkel Nigeria, a leading German multinational and renowned manufacturer of WAW and Nittol detergent, has reiterated its commitment to continuous quality product delivery and best-in-class manufacturing standards.

Speaking when playing host to a delegation from the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the Investment and Technology Promotion Office, Germany in its Ibadan factory, the Head of Factory at Henkel Nigeria, Elijah Egbedeyi, emphasized that the staying power of the brand remains its consistent quality control process, which he attributes as the success factor behind WAW and NITTOL as household favorites.

The visit provided an opportunity for the delegates to gain insights into the cutting-edge technologies and processes that drive Henkel’s success in the Nigerian market and beyond. 

The delegation witnessed firsthand the meticulous processes and procedures put in place by Henkel Nigeria to drive the safe production of quality products that have made the award-winning brand a trusted name in the industry and amongst Nigerian consumers.

Egbedeyi gave insights into the comprehensive workings of the factory, which ensures the highest level of excellence in every product it produces.

“Most of our materials, are locally sourced and produced, with only a handful are imported. These imported items are exclusively linked to our productions and give us competitive edge over our competitors, but they constitute fraction of  our overall production material,” he said.

On his part, the Deputy Head, UNID ITPO Germany, Mr. Michael Schmidt, gave kudos to the management of Henkel Nigeria for adhering to global manufacturing standards. 

“We wish to thank you for having us at your factory today. The accomplishments of Henkel Nigeria speaks volumes for itself, which is so evident in scoring high in quality product control and, as we have observed here, the use of leading technological and scientific means,” he said.

The Head of NIPC, South-west Zonal Office, Lawal Hassan, said that the NIPC has always seen Henkel as a company committed to quality products delivery.
