It is currently a festivity galore in Ijebuland following the news that K1 De Ultimate has been named the new “Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebu.” The position was formerly occupied by Balogun, and he greatly represented the strength and grace of the Ijebu people. With K1 De Ultimate gearing to take over from the late corporate giant, the people of the land are excited.
The news of K1 De Ultimate’s new position is everywhere, sponsored by the announcement of the palace of the Awujale of Ijebu Land, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Adetona (Ogbagba II). The ceremony to cement K1 De Ultimate’s new title is slated for September 26, 2023.
K1 De Ultimate was titled the Mayegun of Yorubaland sometime ago. On account of his contributions to the growing reputation of Ijebuland and indeed all of Yorubaland, the Mayegun position brought him even greater recognition than he had as a Fuji music legend. Thus, one can expect the new title of Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebu is going to raise new waves of love and appreciation for K1 De Ultimate.
Currently, the people are ready to wine and dine. After all, when he was appointed the Mayegun of Yorubaland, K1 De Ultimate made sure that the people recognized the beginning of a new era. And it has been glorious since then.
