Yetunde Kakulu’s new move

Whatever has a beginning, the popular saying goes, must surely have an end. This is so true in the case of Yetunde Kakulu who has reportedly resigned her appointment from Keystone Bank, where she had a fruitful banking career.  For those who have been following her story in the industry, taking the bold move must have been a tough decision.

Her leaving, after 24 years of meritorious service in different capacities in the bank, had been foreseen, particularly after the bank was acquired by Sigma Golf-Riverbank Consortium over five months ago.

In a chat with Spy Glass, a source said: “It is a known fact that top management staff will be relieved of their positions as soon as the new investors, Sigma Golf-Riverbank Consortium, acquired the bank last April. So, it is expected. She happened to be among the affected staff.  I don’t think she has anything to worry about.  She is brilliant and well vast in the industry, so she will definitely get another job.”

Since Kakulu, who combines beauty with brains called it quits with Keystone Bank, not a few are desirous of knowing where the former CEO, Keystone, Uganda subsidiary, will berth.
