‘Nasarawa Amazons Fear No Cup Foes’

Nasarawa Amazons Head Coach, Christopher Danjuma, has said his side is ready to confront any opponent in the 2016 Federation Cup competition.
The draws for the annual football competition held yesterday in Abuja both for the men and women teams.

The women’s draw will involve 22 teams made up of 16 Premier league teams, one Pro-League team and five Amateur sides.

Danjuma said his target in this year’s competition is to recreate history that saw his side emerged winners of the annual football showpiece in 2005.

“Our focus is to take on any side that comes on our way believing the opponent will be the surest path way to the final.

“We want to reach the final like we did in 2013 and win the Federation Cup title as we did in the 2005 edition of the competition.

“We are not bordered with the quality of opposition that will come on our way rather for us to be positive in preparation and belief that whoever we will be paired with will guide us to the final of the competition,” said the former Super Falcons coach to supersport.com.
