VivaJets: Business Aviation Driving Innovation, Connectivity in Africa

The Importance of business aviation in promoting innovation and driving connectivity among African investors towards regional development has been reiterated by experts in Lagos, recently.
The experts, alongside other business stakeholders who gathered for the VivaJets’s 2nd anniversary in Lagos recently, described connectivity as being crucial within and with Africa to drive continent’s prosperity.
Speaking, Chukwuerika Achum, CEO of Falcon Aerospace Limited, parent company of Vivajets stated that the company in its two-year operations was pulling all stops to deliver on industry target and company’s core objectives of democratising access to private aviation and solving business connectivity problems in Africa.
Reflecting on the company’s strides so far, Achum pointed to Vivajets’s award of Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as well as its expansion of global routes and international collaborations, amongst others.
“Our story illustrates the transformative power of business aviation in improving connectivity and innovation across Africa. We believe that Africa’s prosperity lies in connectivity within and with the continent, “he said.
He further reiterated Africa’s need for accessible and efficient private aviation and the company ongoing efforts to drive this via investment in technology and international forums, including the World Economic Forum, WEF.
In his remark, Acting Director General of the NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo stated that the company’s strides in a shortest time testify to its resilience, vision, and commitment to success.
The event also marked the sealing of a partnership deal between Falcon Aero and liquor brand, Glenfiddich as the official in-flight liquor.
Commenting further, COO of Vivajets, Tejumade Salami said, “This is a celebration of what is possible when passion meets purpose. Our journey has been built on the shoulders of an extraordinary team, and as we look to the future, we are committed to scaling even greater heights, delivering excellence, innovation, and shaping the future of private aviation in Africa. “
Some highlights of the event was unveiling of the company’s international travel and lifestyle magazine, ABOVE and showcase of its newly designed cabin crew outfits created in collaboration with popular designer, Loza Maleombho.
