Okachi Charity Foundation Celebrates International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality which has been a topic for discussion over the years.

In a world were the dedication and will to run and manage a foundation can be overwhelming, Founder of Okachi Charity Foundation, Faith Morey has been on top of the affairs of empowerment and impacting lives. Her role and contributions to the lives of many children can’t be overlooked as it has brought about change and hope to children of several communities.

The impact she has been able to make is strongly aligned to women in her foundation alongside the men who have sown immensely their time, resources, experience and drive to making projects happen and achieve its goals. Their role in executing projects is profound and have been of great complement with the hardworking men at the foundation.

In celebration of the 2025’s International Women’s Day, Faith Morey is taking a moment to honour and celebrate all the devoted and hardworking women who are making her work at the foundation seamless. She points out that she can’t thank them enough but at days likes this it offers a time to reflect and see how their contribution is valuable and impactful.
