The inspiration behind her book ‘Our Class is Our Family’

I’m Hadiyyah, and I’m just seven years old. My book revolves around the theme of kindness, especially among children. The inspiration behind my book is my strong desire to impart the value of kindness to others, not for the sake of rewards but because it’s the right thing to do.

Becoming an inspirational young author

I’ve always had a deep-seated passion for writing, and it has been an integral part of my life from a very young age. My journey as a young author is the result of my genuine love for storytelling and my unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world.

One of the routines that has greatly contributed to my growth as a writer is maintaining a gratitude journal. Every day, I take the time to document my daily activities and reflect on the experiences I’ve had. This practice not only helps me stay organised but also allows me to express my thoughts and emotions effectively.

In addition to my gratitude journal, I keep a diary where I jot down important ideas that come to my mind. This diary is like a treasure trove of inspiration and creativity, filled with concepts that often find their way into my stories and writings.

My journey as an author was further influenced by my early introduction to the world of books. I developed a love for reading at the tender age of four, and my passion for literature has only grown stronger with time. In addition to my regular school books, I have devoured approximately 45 other books that have left a lasting impression on me.

These books have ignited my imagination, broadened my horizons, and given me a deeper understanding of the art of storytelling.

It was this extensive reading that catalysed my desire to publish my book. I never anticipated this remarkable journey happening at such a young age, but the inspiration drawn from the pages of those 45 books encouraged me to embark on this adventure.

Now, my book, ‘Our Class is Our Family,’ is readily available for readers on Selar and Amazon. It’s a heartwarming tale that encourages kindness, particularly among children.

I hope that through my writing, I can inspire others to embrace the power of kindness and make the world a better, more inclusive place for all.

The pursuit of Mathematics and creativity

Mathematics is a subject I love because it helps me become a proficient problem-solver. Creativity, in my view, is the essence of life, and it empowers me to achieve my life objectives, including generating innovative solutions to address global challenges.

Dream of attending Harvard University

My aspiration to attend Harvard University is unwavering. I strongly believe that my dedication to continuously improving my Mathematics skills will open doors of opportunity and, perhaps, lead me to the prestigious halls of Harvard.

Mathematics, for me, is not just a subject; it’s a gateway to becoming a smart problem-solver. I find great satisfaction in tackling complex mathematical challenges and using my analytical skills to find solutions. With each mathematical problem I solve, I become one step closer to realising my dream of studying at Harvard.

Harvard is renowned for nurturing some of the world’s brightest minds, and I aim to become a part of that legacy. As I continue to sharpen my skills and broaden my horizons, I remain committed to the pursuit of knowledge and the realisation of my dream to attend Harvard University.

Sharing insights into family support

My mother has always been my staunch supporter in my pursuit of goals. She’s gone to great lengths, including funding, arranging coaching for me and managing public relations, all of which have significantly contributed to my growth as a young author and student.

Three women who inspire her

My mother has been my primary source of inspiration. I’ve come to know her as a resilient, ever-focused and consistently successful woman. She’s not only attained numerous degrees but has also worked with multinational corporations, managed her businesses, authored books and, most importantly, takes great care of herself. Her unwavering support and belief in me have been instrumental in shaping my outlook. She continually emphasises that I can achieve anything I set my heart on if I work on it persistently.

Oprah Winfrey. I’ve heard incredible stories about Oprah’s boldness, perseverance, determination and boundless passion from my mother. These attributes have left an indelible mark on me and serve as a constant source of motivation.

Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama’s powerful speeches and her ability to inspire through her words have made her a daily source of inspiration. Her grace, intelligence and commitment to making a difference have taught me the significance of using my voice to effect positive change in the world. Michelle Obama’s influence extends far beyond her time as the First Lady, and her continued advocacy for causes she believes in is a constant reminder that we can all contribute to a better world through our actions and words.

What she wants to change in the world

I aspire to see a world where everyone is treated with equality and is well-catered for. My dream is for a society where no one faces discrimination or injustice, and where all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances, can lead fulfilling and prosperous lives. I believe that by promoting kindness and empathy, we can take significant steps toward creating a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone.
