Senator Jibrin Barau has emerged the deputy senate President of the 10th National Assembly. Barau emerged unopposed.
Senator-elect Dave Umahi nominated Senator Barau for the position of the Deputy Senate President and read his citation.
The nomination was seconded by Senator Saliu Mustapha from Kwara Central Senatorial District.
Jibrin accepted his nomination as the deputy Senate President
There was no other nomination and the Clerk of the National Assembly declared him as the Deputy Senate President of the 10th Senate
