Buhari Hosts Adamu, Osinbajo, Lawan, Gbajabiamila, Other APC Stakeholders to Dinner

President Muhammadu Buhari Sunday hosted some critical stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to dinner ahead of the party’s national convention which begins in Abuja Monday.

The event was a follow up to the dinner the President had Saturday with all the 23 presidential aspirants of APC at the State House, Abuja. 

Sunday’s dinner which took place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; the leadership of the National Assembly including the President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and other prominent members of the ruling party. 

The President was expected to use the occasion to press ahead with his desire to achieve a consensus in the race for the party’s presidential ticket before the convention.
