The federal government has removed India from the list of countries affected by the travel restriction that was introduced on May 4 to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The Chairman Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha announced the new policy Monday when the PSC briefed the press.

He said India was removed from the list in view of the improved situation in that country.
In view of the latest development, all non-Nigerian passport holders and non-residents who have travelled to Brazil, Turkey and South Africa in the last 14 days will be denied entry into Nigeria.
