The 12th Bola Tinubu Colloquium is underway in Kano with prominent political leaders in attendance. The Colloquim is part of activities marking Tinubu’s 69th birthday anniversary.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo joined the meeting virtually.
Earlier, Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande, had hinted that the vice president would join the President to attend the meeting virtually due to bad weather that disrupted Osinbajo’s travel plans.
“VP Osinbajo spending the day celebrating Asiwaju on his 69th birthday was on course to Kano this morning until weather conditions aborted travel plans. He’ll alongside Mr. President join the 12th BAT Colloquium virtually from the Presidential Villa. Happy birthday Asiwaju,” Akande tweeted.
