The presidential candidate of the Republican Party, Donald Trump, has won in Kentucky, and currently leading in three more states.
With the win, President Trump has secured the 8 electoral college votes from the state.
Although counting is still ongoing in Kentucky, he has been declared winner in the state after polling 187,960 votes, which represents 54 per cent of votes cast, while his closest rival, Joe Biden of the Democratic Party is on 150,707 representing 43.8 per cent.
Trump is leading in South Carolina by 53.8 per cent (184 votes), while Biden has 43.9 per cent (150 votes).
He is also leading in New Hampshire and Virginia,
