Former President of Mauritius, Prof. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Wednesday met with some parents of the abducted Chibok and Dapchi girls in Lagos.
The meeting held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, was convened by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Murtala Muhammed Foundation (MMF), Mrs. Aisha Muhammed Oyebode.
Though details of her discussion with the parents have not been made public, no fewer than 10 parents of the yet-to-be released abducted girls were present at the meeting.
Gurib-Fakim is expected to deliver a keynote address at the 2018 Murtala Muhammed Foundation Women Forum Thursday.
