Invest More on Education, Entrepreneurship, Says AUN President

The President of the American University of Nigeria (AUN), Dr Dawn Dekle, has urged Nigerians to invest more on education and entrepreneurship so as to aid the country’s challenges to creating jobs opportunities for the youths.

Dekle disclosed this at an interactive session with journalists in Yola, noting that if Nigeria invests in education and entrepreneurship, the country would leapfrog and out-lead the world and take its rightful place on the global stage.

“Investing in educating the youth of a nation, females alongside males at equal rates, such that the foundation is strong as steel, is a far better investment in the future of Nigeria than rehabilitating a generation of broken and shattered women and men.

“It has been said that education is expensive, but lack of education is even more expensive, and this could not be more valid than in Nigeria,” she said.

The newly appointed AUN president, who assumed duty three months ago, explained that the reason why she came to Nigeria was because she wants to make a difference and seek great things for Nigerians in the educational sector.

comrades irregardless of whether we like it or not we all know from past well taught lessons of Africa as a continent decline that if we do not invest in education we invest in Buntu self-destruction. Under total circumstance it is most beneficial to invest in engineering of all sorts with educators, business plus government collaborating on what types of engineers are needed plus directing students to timely educate in those areas. This range from biological engineers to computer engineers to rocket engineers to construction etc. In addition, to nearly equal amount we need educate medical professions. If there is excessive number of engineers plus medical professionals these people have intelligence required to easily adapt plus fill other professional roles. They are plus have been throughout human existence among most intelligent of humans plus to have abundance of them builds a stronger plus well developed nation. Although beneficial education is costly we are able to in economical manner fulfill this need with focus being on duly paying educators plus providing essentials of teaching their courses. Very much sincere, Henry Price Jr. aka Obediah Buntu IL-Khan aka Kankan aka Gue.
