National Orthopaedic Hospital Set to Embrace Urah Micellar Therapy

The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos, is set to embrace a new innovation therapy for management of degenerative diseases like Arthritis, rheumatism and osteoporosis, called Urah Micellar Glucosamine Therapy.

This will be presented to medical practitioners of the hospital as part of the activities planned to commemorate 2017 Annual Diaspora Day in Nigeria.

The drug, according to Okoro Nwaka of Neimeth Pharmaceuticals, is based on Urah transdermal technology patented in USA, Japan and Singapore, adding that it is a non-greasy, odourless, innovation delivered seamlessly across skin layers within minutes of the applications with no placebo hot or cooling sensation.

“The clinical presentation on Urah Micellar Glucosamine will be delivered by the inventor, who is a Nigerian Scientist based in Singapore, Dr. Jonathan Obaje, in collaboration with Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc. Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc is a leading pharmaceutical company that manufactures and distributes ethical and consumer medicines in Nigeria. Neimeth is the sole distributor of UrahMicellar Glucosamine in Nigeria,” he said.

The clinical presentation will hold on Thursday 27 July, 2017 at the Orthopaedic Conference Hall Igbobi Lagos.
