Police Announces Reward for Information on Killers of Plateau Monarch

The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Adekunle Oladunjoye, has announced a N10 million reward for anyone who is ready to offer useful information that will lead to the arrest of the killers of Saf Ron Kulere, Chief Lazarus Agai, who was recently murdered alongside two others at Sha while returning from his farm. Oladunjoye made the offer at the Police headquarters in Jos on Wednesday while addressing journalists during a working visit of the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police in charge of Zone 4, Agboola Oshodi Glover, to Jos. He said: “So far, no arrest has been made in connection to the murder.

We want to ensure that the culprits who carried out the killing are arrested.” Noting that Plateau has had a fair share of crisis in the recent past, the police commissioner added that “there are also cases of homicide, armed robbery and other various crimes which our men are trying to curtail.

Our men are working round the clock to clamp down on all criminals in the state.” He however lamented that patrol vehicles and communication systems are inadequate, “we have spoken with the Plateau State governor and he is willing to assist us”, he assured. Agboola, while also addressing officers and men of the command urged them to be more dedicated and professional in discharging their duties.
