Siju Iluyomade Set to Light Up Lagos with 18th Arise Women Programme

When purpose wears the finest cloak of compassion, the gathering it creates is bound to be extraordinary. This is precisely the anticipation building around the 18th edition of Arise Women 2026, the celebrated humanitarian initiative founded by the elegant and indefatigable Dr. Siju Iluyomade.

For almost two decades, Iluyomade has quietly but consistently turned philanthropy into a movement, using the Arise Women platform to empower women, support vulnerable families and bring hope to communities often forgotten by society. Now, the stage is set for another remarkable outing as Arise Women returns on October 31 and November 1, 2026, with “IMPACT” as its resonant theme.

The two-day extravaganza will begin with the much-anticipated Arise Walk for Life on October 31. Participants are expected to take over parts of Victoria Island, Lagos, in a colourful procession designed to promote healthy living, wellness and preventive healthcare. The walk will eventually give way to an exciting entertainment session featuring gospel artistes, comedians and celebrities.

The following day, the spotlight will shift to the ballroom of the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, for the Arise Women Conference. Expected at the gathering are some of Nigeria’s accomplished women, who will share their experiences, perspectives and insights on creating meaningful impact.

But beyond the glitz, glamour and intellectual fireworks lies the soul of Arise Women humanitarian service. Thousands of less privileged individuals are expected to receive the Foundation’s signature Arise Pink Bucket packages, containing essential food items for vulnerable households.

The Foundation’s intervention in healthcare has equally remained noteworthy. Through the ARISE Medical Centre in Dafara, Abuja, women and families receive free medical care, including childbirth services and other essential treatments.

Over the years, Arise Women has supported communities through hospitals, schools, boreholes, mobile clinics, computer centres and women empowerment initiatives.

As the 18th edition beckons, Dr. Iluyomade appears determined to prove once again that true impact is not measured by applause, but by the lives transformed long after the spotlight fades.
