Jennifer Ephraim Completes Advanced Leadership Programme at GOTNI
Queen Jennifer Ephraim, founder of the Queen Jennifer Ephraim Foundation, has completed the Advanced Leadership Programme at the GOTNI Leadership Centre, bringing to an end a training journey she began in 2025.
Ephraim, who disclosed this in a social media post, said completing the programme was particularly significant because she had initially been unable to finish the course due to the demands of acting school, film productions and frequent travel.
She said she enrolled for the leadership programme in June 2025 under the mentorship of Linus Okorie but struggled to keep up with the training while attending acting classes during the week and travelling to film locations at weekends.
According to her, she would leave her acting classes on Fridays for the airport and travel to locations for film productions, often returning on the first flight on Monday morning to resume her studies.
The demanding schedule, she said, affected her participation in the leadership programme, prompting Okorie to occasionally joke about seeing her regularly at airports in Lagos and Abuja.
Ephraim said the importance of completing the leadership training was reinforced after she organised a “Pad a Girl Child” outreach programme through her foundation on October 20, 2025.
She said actress Tonto Dikeh, who encouraged her to pursue leadership training, advised that the programme could strengthen her public speaking and leadership skills.
Although she had already enrolled in the course, Ephraim said she did not disclose that she had been unable to complete it. Instead, she made a personal commitment to return and finish the programme.
She said the opportunity came when Okorie subsequently invited her to participate in another Advanced Leadership Programme.
Determined to complete what she had started, Ephraim said she prioritised the programme despite her other professional commitments.
Reflecting on the experience, she described completing the programme as a moment of being “proud, fulfilled and accomplished.”
She also used the occasion to encourage others to remain committed to their personal goals, particularly when faced with competing demands.
According to her, the experience reinforced the importance of discipline, consistency and perseverance in achieving personal growth.
Ephraim said completing the programme was ultimately a reminder that commitments to personal development should not be abandoned because of temporary setbacks or demanding schedules.
